What everyone wants to
know...LGDT1111D
I believe my units date
code is May 2008 (in pictures later)

Overall internal view.
Note, unlike the Zenith boxes, there is no colored sticker on top of the tuner
shield. It just says THOMSON.

Switching power supply. Near the output pins, I spotted 5.3v and 3.3V sources....5.3..that's
odd...but hey, I did not design it.
Maybe the .3V extra makes it run hot! (just kidding).
Yes,the box runs hot despite the ventilation. Main heat seems to come from
the tuner can.

Yep, has those mystery pins. Some future feature that is not coupon eligible
no doubt...

The new DigitalStream DTX9950
With analog pass-through.

Rear view. Between the
RF in/out and the RCA jacks is the RF output channel select switch (ch. 3/4).
Take your pick!
Label on the bottom of
my 9950. I assume the code " 05A08 "Means May 2008. this code also
appears on the card board box as well.
The A/D button located
between the volume and channel buttons allows you to switch to the HD converter
tuner or analog pass-through!
Remote feel nice to me.
Also, I do not have to aim squarely at the box. I have pointed the remote
straight up at the ceiling and of 90 degrees ...still works!
Power L.E.D. will blink to confirm you pressed a button.
The box...
There's what I believe is the date code again. 05A08. May 2008 is my belief.
Front cover of users manual and installation guide. Neither of which I have
read yet, but I will indeed read form cover to cover...
Right after I figure it out all on my own first.
